Bristol and South Gloucestershire councils are leading on the Cycling City project, working with Bath & North East Somerset and North Somerset councils to promote cycling across the region.
If you want to become more involved in cycling issues, you could join one of the cycle forums which meet regularly.
A representative from the council attends the meeting and can answer any questions on cycling and discuss issues affecting cyclists.
You don’t have to book, just turn up.
Contact your local council if you would like to find out more about a particular Cycle Forum.
