Bristol and South Gloucestershire councils are leading on the Cycling City project, working with Bath & North East Somerset and North Somerset councils to promote cycling across the region.

Brunel Mile is a traffic free route from Millennium Square to Temple Meads train station. The route takes in several Cycling City projects, including a two-way cycle lane along Redcliffe Bridge.
